Why is My Image Rotated?

Certain software (like Preview or iPhoto on a Mac and certain Windows photo viewers) automatically rotate the image to the correct orientation when you view it. But browsers don’t do this, so the image might still upload in the wrong orientation on your profile.

To solve this, open the image in Photoshop, ImageReady or another image editor, rotate it and save it again. This should save the correct orientation. Gimp is one free option that can rotate an image. Simply download the tool, upload your art, rotate, save and upload the new image file.
