Rise Art Scam Alert: Identify & Avoid Phishing Attempts

We recently received reports of phishing emails targeting Rise Art artists. We take the security of your information seriously and want to equip you with the knowledge to identify and avoid these scams.

What is Phishing?

Phishing emails are fraudulent attempts to trick you into revealing personal information such as passwords or credit card details. Scammers often make these emails appear legitimate, mimicking the branding and style of Rise Art.

How to Identify a Rise Art Phishing Scam

Here are some red flags to watch out for:

  • Email addresses from non-Rise Art domains: Legitimate Rise Art sales notifications will always come from email addresses ending with @riseart.com or @riseart.it.
  • Requests for personal information: Rise Art will never request personal information, including payment details and bank account information, via email. We only access this information securely through your Seller Console.
  • Suspicious urgency or pressure: Scammers may try to pressure you into responding quickly before you have a chance to think. If you are in doubt, please contact our team.

What to Do if You Receive a Suspicious Email

  • Do not click on any links or attachments in the email. These could lead to malicious websites designed to steal your information.
  • Do not respond to the email or give away any personal information.

Remember: Rise Art will always communicate with artists through the Seller Console or a @riseart.com email address. We will never request personal information via email.

If you are unsure about the legitimacy of an email, contact us at advisors@riseart.com or call us at 0044 020 8629 1525.
